What we do

 

The objectives of the North Cumberland

 

Historical Society are as follows:

  • to collect, archive, publish, and make available historical and genealogical information of the North Cumberland area to the public.

  • to provide a research facility for genealogists, historians, and other researchers.


The society has a collection of family files,

 

research reference materials, maps, ledgers,

 

roll books, charts, and photos.

Genealogical Research

 

If your roots are in the North Cumberland region of Nova Scotia,  we may have genealogy information that can help you. A volunteer will make that material available to you if you come in, or answer your specific questions if you are writing us from away. Don't be surprised if we ask you to share your material with us in return!!
